Azrul Shah Ismail is a distinguished ICT and project management leader with over 25 years of proven experience in delivering complex, high-impact projects and consulting engagements across Malaysia, Europe, and the Middle East. He possesses a strong track record in managing high-risk, multi-stakeholder initiatives for both private sector enterprises and government agencies, consistently achieving strategic objectives and operational excellence.
Azrul's expertise spans Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Enterprise ICT environments. He has led numerous transformative initiatives, including ICT digitalisation programmes, data centre design and migration, enterprise application development, core system modernisation, and large-scale infrastructure rollouts, collaborating closely with multinational corporations, local conglomerates, and strategic technology partners.
In addition, Azrul has contributed significantly to government and GLC projects, encompassing national-level, mission-critical, and special-purpose initiatives. His experience includes public sector digital transformation, secure ICT platforms, command and control systems, and cross-agency application development, operating within stringent regulatory, security, and audit frameworks. He has successfully coordinated with ministries, statutory bodies, regulators, and appointed system integrators to ensure full compliance and effective project delivery.
With over 22 years in senior corporate leadership, Azrul has held multiple C-level and senior management positions within Berhad companies and diversified holding groups, overseeing enterprise portfolio management, strategic ICT planning, programme assurance, and executive decision support, frequently reporting to Boards and steering committees.
Driven by entrepreneurial vision, Azrul founded iSeal Solution Sdn. Bhd., building the company from the ground up to deliver Project Management Office (PMO) services, ICT consulting, system integration, professional manpower solutions, and ICT supply services to both public and private sector clients.
Under his leadership, iSeal Solution operates with a dedicated team of senior ICT professionals and specialised consultants, delivering projects across application development, infrastructure, data centres, system integration, and advisory services. The firm supports government special projects, confidential initiatives, and time-critical programmes, ensuring excellence, compliance, and alignment with organisational objectives.
